Who should apply?

• Full or part time graduate students
• Students that are currently enrolled in or recently accepted to a college or university for an advanced degree
• California residents (required)

How do I apply?

• Apply electronically on this website starting January 1, 2009.
• The deadline for 2009 scholarships is March 31, 2009. The 2009 scholarship application is not yet available.

When is the application deadline?

• The next application deadline is March 31, 2009

What is the amount of each Scholarship?

• Three $3,500 scholarships will be awarded

How are the final recipients selected?

• A Scholarship Selection Committee is convened annually. Members for this committee consist of chief nurse executives, deans and faculty members from nursing graduate programs, and other nursing leaders throughout California.

• Applications are judged based on the merits of the answers provided in sections IV. and V. of the application.

When will applications be awarded?

• Scholarships are awarded by July of the application year
