Vice President, Finance
Candidate will lead health care financial consulting practice including hospital financial operations, debt capacity, financial capital methods, revenue cycle, hospital financial analysis and business planning engagements.  The preferred candidate will have the ability to generate client engagements, lead project teams, effectively supervise other team members, lead meetings and use their time in a billed-hours environment. Fifteen years or more financial/healthcare experience necessary.  Master’s degree and previous consulting experience required. Los Angeles or Chicago.

Vice President, Hospital Operations/Nursing
The Vice President, Hospital Operations/Nursing is considered a key leader within our consulting practice.  Responsibilities include generating new clients, strengthening existing client relationships, completing project assignments, analytical work, composition, writing and presentation of our findings to clients.  This position will have a high degree of direct client interaction and overall accountability for engagements and managing engagement teams.  Additional experience in a healthcare consulting role is also desired.  A successful candidate will be experienced in cost management and cost reduction strategies, hospital or departmental turnarounds, staffing effectiveness in nursing, ancillary and support departments, hospital and departmental throughput management, process improvement strategies, and compliance.  This position requires a minimum of five years recent experience at the executive team level within an acute care facility.  Additional experience in a healthcare consulting role is also desired.  A RN, MSN and a MBA, MPA or master’s degree in a related field is required.  Los Angeles.

Vice President, Strategic and Business Planning
The successful candidate for this position will lead projects including strategic and business planning, present at board retreats, facilitate mergers, acquisitions and other business transactions serving hospitals, physician groups and health care businesses.  This position requires a professional with excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, written and oral skills.  Minimum of 10 years healthcare experience with the proven ability to present and sell consulting services, and to develop and maintain relationships with clients at the senior executive level.  Master’s degree and consulting experience required.  Los Angeles and Chicago.

Manager, Compliance Services, and Transactions
Participate and manage moderately complex consulting engagements including fair market valuations, fairness opinions, transaction advice, physician compensation studies, surveys, and financial projections.  The manager will lead the firm’s practice in providing documentation to healthcare entities regarding fair market value/reasonableness for physician compensation, management and professional services arrangements, and on-call payments that meet all regulatory and legal requirements.  The individual must demonstrate confidence in making presentations and facilitation discussions among sometimes disparate parties.  In addition to their participation in various projects, managers identify opportunities to expand sales of the firm by generating add-on work with existing clients, and developing new client relationships.  Bachelor’s degree, healthcare consulting experience, minimum of five years experience in valuation techniques and methodologies, leadership capabilities, and ability to be an effective team player required.  Master’s in business, CPA or one of the following:  ASA, CVA or ABV preferred. Manager, Business Advisory Services
Will prepare and manage the following types of projects: service line development, feasibility studies, demand forecasts, strategic plans, physician-hospital alignment strategy for presentation and collaboration with the executive team members of hospitals, physician groups, and other healthcare organizations.   The successful candidate will have a high degree of direct client interaction, be responsible for managing projects, participate in the sale and management of consulting projects, and use their time in a billed-hours environment. Master’s Degree in business or related field, eight years of hospital or healthcare finance/planning experience required.   Los Angeles or Chicago.

Senior Consultant, Business Advisory Services
Primary responsibilities will include financial data analysis and modeling, preparing reports, and incorporating findings in written and graphic form.  Projects will include strategic and business plans, fairness opinions, financial feasibility studies, valuations, and mergers/acquisitions. In addition to their participation in various studies, senior consultants are also responsible for preparing proposals, attending informational conferences, and networking at client functions.  Senior Consultants will gain communications and analytical skills, while building an intimate knowledge of the healthcare industry.  Senior Consultants may direct others in managing the completion of client work.  MBA or equivalent health related degree preferred. Bachelor’s degree with three to five years experience in hospital or other healthcare field required. Los Angeles or Chicago.
