Ms. Markle is a vice president at The Camden Group with more than twenty years of clinical and management experience in the healthcare industry. Ms. Markle’s areas of expertise include quality and utilization management, operations management, and provider relations in commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid managed care settings. She has experience in leading health plans to excellent NCQA accreditation, and developing ACOs, clinical integration, care models, and patient engagement strategies.

Prior to joining The Camden Group, Ms. Markle served as Vice President, Client Services at SummaCare, Inc./Apex, Inc., the insurance and third party administrator arm of Summa Health System in Akron, Ohio, where she was responsible for health plan and TPA operations for clients in Ohio, Vermont, Florida, and Tennessee, including claims management, customer service, and enrollment and billing. She also led the development of a clinical communications call center for the health system’s ACO. Ms. Markle had previously served as Vice President, Health Service Management at SummaCare, Inc. and established a corporate-wide quality management program, diabetes, asthma, cardiovascular, maternal care disease management programs, and was responsible for credentialing.

Prior to working at SummaCare, Inc., Ms. Markle was the Director of Corporate Quality Improvement at Qualchoice Health Plan and held various leadership roles in the areas of clinical quality, resource management, and provider relations at Kaiser Permanente.
