Mr. Warden is a senior vice president at The Camden Group with over 20 years of experience in healthcare management.  He specializes in physician-hospital relations and strategic planning and has assisted a wide range of hospitals, health systems, and academic medical centers with physician strategies and business development.

Mr. Warden was most recently founder and principal of JW1 Ventures & Consulting, a Chicago based healthcare consulting firm.  Before forming JW1 Ventures & Consulting, he was senior vice president at Kaufman Hall Associates, where he was the leader of the firm’s physician strategy practice. 

Mr. Warden previously served as executive vice president at Sg2, an international healthcare intelligence and consulting firm, and began his consulting career with physician, hospital, and managed care strategy consulting for Tiber Group (now Navigant Consulting). 

Prior to his consulting work, Mr. Warden held multiple physician practice leadership positions in primary care, occupational health/urgent care, and emergency medicine.  His early career experience included corporate and hospital operations roles for a large national hospital company, and healthcare policy/research work at the Washington State Hospital Association.

Mr. Warden is a published author and is frequently interviewed by national healthcare trade publications.  Mr. Warden recently authored the book, Creating Sustainable Physician-Hospital Strategies, part of the Health Administration Press Executive Essentials series.  He also speaks nationally on the topic of physician-hospital relations. 

Mr. Warden holds masters degrees in business administration and health services administration from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Michigan and a bachelor of arts degree from Dartmouth College, Hanover, New Hampshire.
