Mr. Yu is a consultant with The Camden Group who specializes in operations assessment and improvement. He has a strong healthcare services background that includes inpatient and outpatient clinical practice and patient oriented research.
Mr. Yu also has a focus on quality improvement and recently co-authored two articles: “The Changing Reimbursement Landscape: Nurses’ Role in Quality and Operational Excellence,” which was published in Journal of Nursing Economic$ and “The Impact of Quality of Care on Financial Performance,” which was published in The Governance Institute’s November 2008 E-Briefing.
Prior to joining The Camden Group, Mr. Yu held a senior analyst position at Sg2 Health Care Intelligence, where he focused on advanced data analytics and modeling, hospital operations, and nursing leadership. In addition, he has held positions at the New York University Langone Medical Center (formerly NYU Medical center) and the University of Pennsylvania Health System.

Mr. Yu graduated from the University of Pennsylvania’s Nursing and Health Care Management Joint Degree program. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from the Wharton School, concentrating in finance and healthcare management and policy, and a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from the School of Nursing.
