Ms. Yocum is a senior advisor at The Camden Group, with over 25 years in the healthcare field, including over 10 years on the senior leadership team of HealthCare Partners, LLC (“HCP”), one of the largest physician organizations in the country.  She is an expert at strategic planning, financial and operational improvement, process redesign, and cultural change for physician organizations and accountable care organizations (“ACOs”).  Ms. Yocum is experienced with the successful implementation of patient-centered medical homes and electronic health records and has served in interim management roles in hospitals, IPAs, MSOs, and medical groups as a CEO, CFO, or COO.

Most recently Ms. Yocum has been a consultant leading several process improvement projects including implementation of patient-centered medical home and a medication error elimination project for a major southern California hospital.  Prior to these engagements, Ms. Yocum led HCP through their operational transformation and growth, including implementation of Advanced Access, their care team practice delivery model, and most recently led the single largest launch of an EHR across all of HCP’s practice sites in a single day.  While at HCP, she helped lead the organization’s strong growth in both group model and IPA.  With a commitment to profitability as well as growth, contribution margins improved steadily during her tenure; in addition, every key clinical quality measure tracked by the company improved. 

Before joining HCP, Ms. Yocum was a consultant who fulfilled interim management roles in a variety of healthcare settings.  She was also a senior manager with Price Waterhouse. 

Ms. Yocum received her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Truman State University and is a licensed CPA in California.
