Mr. Nahm is a vice president with The Camden Group with over 35 years of experience in healthcare settings. Through his experience, he has garnered operational knowledge of and is fully versed in the healthcare trends impacting hospital and physician organizations.
Mr. Nahm has extensive expertise and a focus on fair market valuations, large physician group strategic planning, the formation of co-management and other physician-hospital arrangements, physician compensation models, and physician-hospital contract negotiations. He also assists hospitals and physicians on the design, re-design, and implementation of hospitalist programs. He serves a variety of clients, including individual hospitals, health systems, physician organizations, and managed care entities.
Prior to joining The Camden Group, Mr. Nahm was president of InCare Strategies, Inc., a national consulting firm that guided and consulted hospitals on hospitalist programs and on methodologies to improve inpatient care processes. Preceding InCare, Mr. Nahm served as a vice president with Cogent Healthcare, an outsourced hospitalist management company. He also served as vice president for CompMed, Inc., a national physician management company, and as the CEO for hospitals in Florida.
Mr. Nahm is certified by the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts as an Accredited Valuation Analyst (AVA). Requirements to earn the AVA designation include holding a business degree, demonstrating substantial valuation experience, and successfully completing a comprehensive examination and valuation case study. Mr. Nahm is a member of the Society of Hospital Medicine, the Medical Fitness Association, and serves on the editorial board for “Today’s Hospitalist.”
